I’m pretty sure you’ve had problems with smelly dog collars at some time or other. Actually, what am I saying!? Of course you have, this is a site about Labradors and chances are, you’re here because you share your life with a Lab! They love water. They love mud. They love rolling in nasty things that we can’t even put a name to! Of course your Labs collar stinks!!!!
I’d heard the Spiffy Dog Air Collar could be an answer to this problem so Monty and I put it to the test.

The Spiffy Air Dog Collar is made from a lightweight mesh that is commonly used in running shoes.
The collar is breathable so it doesn’t retain odours in the way that traditional webbing collars do.

So, what did we think of the Spiffy Dog Air Collar?
Monty puts his Spiffy Dog Air Collar to the test!
Well, it does just what the manufacturers claim it does and you can’t ask for much more than that. After 5 months of daily, almost constant wear. Monty’s collar still doesn’t stink. And I haven’t washed it once! I’m not saying it smells as good as new. That would be impossible given what it’s been through. But it just smells of Monty rather than a million unidentifiable dead things. Got to be happy with that!!!
Apart from the ‘no stink’ aspect there’s something else I love about this collar. It’s incredibly soft and comfortable looking. Monty tends to get irritated by collars after long periods of wear but he’s happy to wear this one all day long.
Overall, a great collar. Perfect for Labradors!
