Ernie, a yellow Labrador retriever.

My mom Christine and my dad Cassady.

Please describe your perfect day:
Mom and dad loading up the truck to go to the cabin (as soon as I realize where we're going I get so excited I can't stand it!). As soon as we get there I go down to the lake for a swim, chase some squirrels, run around barking at all the sounds, and then finally retire for the evening laying by the campfire. I love getting dirty!

Do you like cats?
I've never been close enough to one to know! Any bad habits: Barking when I'm not supposed to, farting in confined spaces.

Ike had a rough go at it at first: At five months, he was attacked by a pitbull. We thought we would have to make the difficult decision to amputate his leg, but thankfully we found a specialist in a neighbouring city who was up to the challenge and saved his leg. Even after the surgery when he was in a lot of pain, he just kept wagging his tail and giving everyone kisses. He has an incredibly happy attitude and lives life to the fullest, never letting his "disability" hold him back.
